GoodReads “Want to Read” #1

There is always something on new to do for lists. This one that I am doing isn’t one I have seen {or haven’t as far as that goes}. I was looking through my “want to read” list, oldest first, and clicked it to read the synopsis and seen a preview option. Now, I don’t recall seeing this on the mobile version. It makes me want to check in the future but right now I am on the laptop and.. the feature is new to me. As I write this though I realize its not with all books just some. Which is kinda, lame. JS

It will be easier to share links to the books on the laptop then my phone so I will be adding them to this post at least.

Awaken by Kate Kacvinsky.

I read the Intro “prologue” {which the spelling does not look right to me with that but whatever}, and it seemed really interesting. I would definitely be interested in reading this in the future. Books seem to be some sort of rare thing because REAL trees are a rare thing. They have synthetic trees that you order online. It honestly gave me some LORAX vibes and that is a really important movie IMO.

Watermelon by Marian Keyes

The Synopsis to this book sounds like a woman who gets thrown some punches in life and how her family is uplifting an positive and it helps her to become a better person for herself and for her newborn child.  I am looking forward to reading this and seeing if its one to recommend to women in my life who have been through similar situation.

The Distance Between Us by Kasie West

I have read a few of her books and I am never disappointed. Absolutely an auto read for me. I really like to read her books after something intense or emotionally rough. Those are times when a light fluffy book is needed.

happy reading
