Library Book Sale Haul 2018 *Trigger Warning: Anxiety*

This last weekend there was a book sale. It was so packed and I struggled with my anxiety a bit more then I care to admit.

I will share the pictures below, and then if you want to hear about my rough experience then scroll past the arrows…

I’m not claustrophobic. However, it was so packed nobody could move hardly at all.

TO START:

Me and my MIL (soon to be anyways, whatever) were 30 min early and the line was already fair enough long.

We went in, and it didn’t really seem so bad. Especially being closer to the front of the line then the back. And after shuffling in the crowd like human sardines, I just needed to get but couldn’t. And if I wanted my books I obviously had to pay first. It was a tough decision.

Get books. Pay for them. Leave.

So there was space to even like, I don’t know, walk or..breathe. one lady had filled 6 boxes and had a huge honking dolly type cart she was pulling around with them on it. Whoa!

Props to her and all, for sure. I don’t have enough space for more then what I did get, never mind 6 full boxes. And the hardbacks were 50c. Paperback 10c. And a box was 5.00. Of course the logical thing is to fill up a box with hardbacks. That makes the most sense.

I was so happy to get to more open space and out of there to fresh air. The rest of the day was a little rough also but its not relevant to the post so we can skip on past it.

Hopefully this wasn’t triggering for anyone, and that everyone is having good reading progress, good hauls, and happy days.

Thank you for stopping by and checking this out.

Please remember to take care of your mental health. Its just as important, you are important.

Sending positive vibes to you and your family.

Happy Reading
