I went into this blind. The synopsis mentions its Girl with a dragon tattoo meets gone girl. I disliked Gone Girl. So Much. Book and movie equally.
Fortunately I was already halfway through and hooked when I read the synopsis.
I had an assumption who the bad guy was, I have been good about that before. This time however, I was surprised. The story wrapped up well. I thought it taking place in Kenya was really cool.
I would give this 4/5 stars.
