The Fill-in Boyfriend by Kasie West review

This book was a cute and fluffy contemporary, but it does deal with some real things. The changes in friends as we grow, our addiction as a society to social media, and importance of honesty.

This guy she has been seeing for 2 months is finally coming to meet her friends at prom. It goes unexpectedly and he ends up breaking up with her right before they go inside. Right in the parking lot. So as the name suggests, she needs a boyfriend to fill in.

Should she just have been no honest with her friends? Of course. But not all in the group are on her side. The domino effect is interesting, all in all I really enjoyed reading it. Fluffy and cute easy read.

I’d give this 4/5 stars
